  • Lithium - thanks for attempting to address my question. I understand that sometimes the life of the mother is at risk. Maybe I need to state my question more clearly. A specific example may help. Let's say a woman, in the last trimester of pregnancy, say 25 weeks becomes toxemic.

  • TexDude - huh?? Gordy - No I'm not an OB - that's why I'm asking the question. If I were an OB, I probably would know the answer. Since I'm not, I'm asking a simple question. Asking questions is a really good way to learn new things.

  • Everybody keeps saying late term abortions can save the life of the mother. If a women's life is actually at risk, it seems like the abortion procedure (we've all heard the gruesome details of what happens) would be more dangerous than just inducing labor and giving birth.

  • Oops! I stand corrected. I now see the light! I guess it's ok to become vigilantes who go around threatening the lives of people who do stupid things to cats. Just an FYI, I have both kids and cats. If someone killed my cat, I would be ticked, but I wouldn't murder them.
